Forestry

We began purchasing New Zealand forestry land and assets approximately 25 years ago. This is not only a strong investment which diversifies our core building assets, but one that also offsets our carbon footprint.

Currently the amount of carbon dioxide produced in powering our property portfolio annually is offset x20 by the amount of carbon dioxide sequestered by our forestry assets. 

We also recognise the importance of supporting our local and national communities, and have strong involvement with the Johnsonville Youth Grants Trust and Life Education Trust.

Who we are

Mark Kirk-Burnnand

PROPERTY DIRECTOR

On completion of a Bachelor of Building Science (BBSc) degree at Victoria University, Mark worked as a Project Manager in commercial construction before moving into corporate Project Management work with Government and for a large development company in Wellington. Mark brings an in-depth knowledge of commercial property management, on-site construction, investment, and leasing experience. Mark is responsible for portfolio improvement, leasing, property management, and acquisitions.

Chris Kirk-Burnnand

Chris has owned and operated businesses since 1970, and over this period has also purchased, developed, and maintained ownership of several high-profile properties. Chris is committed to community and charity and amongst other involvement he established the Johnsonville Youth Grants Trust in 1986.
